Hello! I'm Shannon.

Having worked in the motion graphics industry for nearly 10 years as a senior producer, editor & art director, I am passionate about finding projects that align with my values of social & political justice. 

 

With a degree in Journalism & a concentration in Strategic Communications, I've applied a detailed oriented and facts-driven approach to my production techniques & creative concepts, allowing me to lead teams through a breadth of projects from conception to completion in various genres and storytelling modes.

On the project management side, I know the insides and outs of strategically recruiting & managing full teams from 2-20 people and am in constant contact with clients on a daily basis. I have also created custom budget management systems & resource organization documents to track & actualize data.

 

I am an entirely hands on person and love being in the weeds on a number of projects at once. I am used to leading up to 10 projects at once, on time and on budget, and have mastered the art of scheduling and planning for the worst, in order to avoid the worst.

As of this month, I also became a founding board member of a start-up non-profit with a long time colleague, where we plan to use the power of art to raise funds across various social justice projects.

I have often been called the “passionate producer” & strongly identify with that title. I am now seeking to find a career that can help my passions take root and work for the planet outside of solely serving the entertainment industry.

I love mountain biking, hiking, baking, gardening and homesteading and have been traveling while working for the past year and a half! I love to explore, learn and live life to the fullest!
